Women In The Church (WIC)

The WIC ministry of St. Andrews seeks to gather women of all ages in the church together for the purpose of fellowship, encouragement, and discipleship. WIC has several large and small group activities as well as sub-ministries designed to meet the individual needs of each woman.

Ministries

  • Titus 2

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine.  They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled, pure, working at home, kind and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.  Titus 2:3-5, ESV

This program seeks to match ladies with a mentor.  In the past we have had home fellowships in order to foster these relationships.  We currently utilize our time at our quarterly luncheons to try to develop these relationships.

We believe that these relationships are important.  If you would like more information, please email Paula Anderson by clicking here

  • Share and Care

"Share and Care" seeks primarily to help provide meals for church members who are in need because of a new baby, an illness, or hospitalization.  Ideally, church Small Groups will provide for most needs.  However, if a need arises for a church member that is not involved in a small group, or the need is substantial, the WIC committee is ready to assist.
