The SAPC Youth Ministry is led by Juli Pope and Mitch Jaeger.

Students 7-12 grade gather at the Moseley House:

Sunday Mornings, 9:30-10:30 am: Sunday School focuses on scripture and learning.

Sunday Evenings, 5:30-7:30 pm: Youth Group focuses on fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth.

Small Groups: A chance to interact in a smaller setting, separated by age and gender. Email Juli for the times and places.

The youth group participates in two annual events:

RENEW (in summer) and CAMP (in the fall).

Small groups of students meet weekly.

These groups are supervised by adult leaders and are divided up by grade level and gender.

Small Groups are a place where deep spiritual growth can occur and deeper friendships can be forged.  Contact Juli Pope at for more details.

Coming soon! Check back here for more details in August.

Fall Camp

Camp takes place once a year and provides one weekend in October for the youth to unplug and escape the normal stresses of life while hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sharing in fellowship with one another, and worshiping together.

This is a weekend where we encourage students to step away and find comfort in a weekend of learning, laughing, and praising God. We have multiple sessions with a guest speaker, worship music, and lots of fun activities. This is a great time for students to mature both spiritually and socially; friendships are forged and strengthened during weekends like these.

CAMP 2019 will be October 4-6. Please contact Juli Pope for questions or to sign up!

Every year the youth have an opportunity to partner with Highland Community Church in a week long missions trip called Renew. The trip focuses on building community, serving and loving our neighbors, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through different avenues. It has two distinct portions: the missions work and the adventure portion.

This year, Renew will look a little different. Due to God's provision, Highland Community Church will be under going a major construction project this summer for the building of a new facility. With that said, the youth will have an opportunity to still serve and attend worship at Highland Community Church, but will spend majority of the trip in Bervard, NC attending Ridge Haven Camp where students will be challenged to grow, cultivate stronger community, and be pointed to Jesus!
